Registered Charity No: 1202125

Project 90-10 is the official home of the PACK educational programmes for young people and safeguarding leads; and anyone who understands the importance of protecting children, allowing them to safely flourish through their childhoods with tools and information that could help them protect themselves. Our educational programmes are key to stabilising children today and the future generations to come, by supporting young minds with an education that will protect their life and future.

HOW TO DONATE;

We currently receive our donations via our official PayPal Charity Account; please use the link to donate. We are very grateful to PayPal for including us in their PayPal Giving Fund and to everyone supporting.

If you wish to start a fundraiser we would be very appreciative, and would love to chat further on how we could support / promote your event.

Who are we?

Project 90/10 is set up for the public benefit to educate, raise awareness and protect children from child sexual abuse. Our education packs are created to encourage young people to understand the importance of healthy relationships, how to trust - or understand what trust means - and how to recognise when to question, speak out and who to speak to.

Did you know?

That on average 90% of children being sexually abused know their perpetrator. A stat that needs to be focused on if we are to protect children and eradicate CSA. The 10% of stranger danger is still important, but the 90% is critical and urgent.

Our mission is to be a vehicle for influential attitude and action change through education and awareness campaigns in the area of sexual abuse. The mission is not only to offer clear protection, support, and solution to children and parents who have already suffered but key education and innovative awareness to current demographics and other important sectors of society, ensuring prevention rather than cure. In an ever quickly changing world Project 90/10 are wholly committed and passionate to change the way this pivotal issue is averted, healed, treated, and supported.

IMPORTANT NOTE:

Our educational programmes are key to stabilising children today and the future generations to come, by supporting young minds with an education that will protect their life and future.

Everyone involved with Project 90/10 is hugely appreciated and valued, as we continue to build more possibilities and safe-guarding for young people.

An excerpt from TED Talk;

"It's not just the strangers we should be careful of"

Statistics report, that of those that have been sexually abused as a child, 90% knew their perpetrator. If we continue to educate young people on this basis, around the concept of stranger danger, then we are only educating a very small 10% out of the millions of children being sexually abused every year by someone they know.

 So, why are we still sharing the message about stranger danger when clearly the greater danger for children is much closer to home?

 The misalignment of that 90/10 statistic combined with the guidance we offer young people, produces a stark reality, young lives are being catastrophically ruined.
