Research shows that approximately 90% of children who are sexually abused know their abuser. This statistic is essential to understand if we want safeguarding practice to be effective. While the 10% relating to strangers remains relevant, the 90% reflects the most urgent safeguarding concern.
Project 90‑10 is the official home of the P.A.C.K Educational Programmes, delivering vital tools and information to safeguard children and allow them to flourish throughout their childhoods. Our programmes focus on stabilising young minds, strengthening awareness and building a brighter, safer future for the generations to come.
As a grassroots charity, we work tirelessly behind the scenes with a wide network of professionals — including therapists, education specialists and Slater & Gordon Lawyers — to ensure our safeguarding practice remains robust, informed and responsive to the realities children face today.

We are still a relatively new, grassroots charity, doing all we can while continuing to build strong partnerships and expand our network whilst building our safeguarding programmes and awareness around child protection
